Food is fuel for the body

Just as gas fuels your vehicle, food provides us with the vital energy that we need to perform at our best. However, food has another very important, but often overlooked, role helping the body repair itself. Fortunately, modern medicine is now revisiting practices of our ancestors that suggest that food can have both a healing and preventative role in disease and injuries in the body.

  • Have you been told by your doctor that you need to follow a special diet to improve your heart health, to lose weight, or to manage diabetes?
  • Have you been diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome or another gastrointestinal disorder?
  • Do you have food intolerances, such as gluten or dairy and need help developing a meal plan that will alleviate your symptoms?
  • Have you ever been diagnosed with a disease (cancer, fibromyalgia, etc.) and wanted to learn about the impact that diet can have on your quality of life?
  • Are you simply trying to make small, sustainable changes to your diet to improve your overall well-being?

If you answered “YES” to any of these questions, I can coach you to achieve your goals to better health. Contact me today to learn more about nutrition counseling services!
